Development of Automatic Positioning System of Cutting Drum in Tobacco Cutter

摘要: 分析了切丝机人工推动刀辊进行刀片更换和调整时存在的问题,利用切丝机刀辊的现有动力源和PLC控制技术,开发了切丝机刀辊自动定位系统。该系统的应用可使刀辊转速在0rmp至电机额定转速范围内任意调整,操作者通过触摸屏等将刀号输入PLC,即可实现刀片的自动定位和锁定功能,安全省力,也提高了整机的自动化控制水平。Abstract: By analyzing the problems existing in manual knife setting and replacement on the cutting drum in tobacco cutter, an automatic system was developed by using existing cutting drum power source and PLC. The speed of cutting drum could be randomly adjusted in the range of 0 rpm to maximum rate, the position of individual knife could be automatically set and locked by inputting the respective knife number into PLC via touch screen. The system is safe and labor saving, and it enhances the automation of the machine.
