Abstract: The shortcomings of electronic belt weigher and static weigher applied in tobacco leaf threshing and redrying line were analyzed, a silo weigher was developed and its working principle was also introduced. The problems of flow surge and load bias in the application of silo weigher were discussed emphatically. The silo weigher is installed in front of the baler, it weighs tobacco statically and ensures the process uninterrupted, and features high precision and good stability.
