Abstract: The application of statistical technique in tobacco agriculture including classification and comprehensive evaluation of tobacco varieties, relationship between ecological factors and tobacco quality, forecast of tobacco diseases and pests, correlation analysis between tobacco quality data, and tobacco leaf grading, was introduced. The properties and limitations of usual statistical methods were also discussed.
