Abstract: The layout and functions of Hongta automatic cigarette sorting-picking system were introduced, the 4 key technologies, cigarette cases high speed confluence, sorting-picking control, barcode verifying and data processing, applied in the system were discussed emphatically.The veracity, reliability and dispatching capacity of the system were analyzed on the basis of practical application, the results indicated that: 1) the dispatching capacity of the system was affected greatly by the number of odd lots;2) the correctness of the system reached 99.99%;3) it was not very real time and became a potential source of data errors to enter dispatching data into ERP system by MDI(manual data input);4) the reliability of the system was 98.90%.Meanwhile, the solutions to the problems existing in the distributing section in Hongta automatic cigarette sorting-picking system were also suggested.
