Abstract: In the parts depot management subsystem in MIS of Longyan Cigarette Factory,quite a lot of operation had to be done manually,which often resulted in erroneous information of spare parts issuing.Therefore,a system with wireless barcode scanning technology was applied in the process of spare parts issuing/receiving.The system was composed of data acquisition and sending device,data receiving and terminal interface circuit,and host database management system;and the functions of the system included spare parts retrieving along with wireless scanning,urgent spare parts retrieving along with wireless scanning,real-time inventory,etc.The practical application shows that the real-time dynamic management is realized,spare parts issuing/receiving is speeded up,and the mistakes in parts issuing/receiving is reduced.
