Abstract: For applying factor screening in processing quality evaluation,the experiment was carried out in loosening,conditioning,screening and casing processes.The results showed that:1) within the tested range,the parameters related to quality of lamina pad and smoking quality in order of significance of correlation were working steam pressure of conditioner> steam valve opening of conditioner> working steam pressure of casing cylinder> rotation speed of conditioning cylinder;2) the number of parameters affecting loosening,conditioning,screening and casing processes was reduced from 11 to 4,and the test was simplified effectively.
