Abstract:In order to reclaim the steam condensate in cut tobacco drying process and cut stem expansion tower, the pipeline supplying demineralized water to boiler was improved. The steam condensate in the reservoir of heat-exchange station was sent to the water tank of CO
2 deaering tower and cooled by the deaering tower and an in-house manufactured closed type surface cooler, and the suspended particles in the steam condensate was filtered by a filter device added in the pipeline. The results showed that, the temperature of the treated steam condensate declined from 98 Xl to 30 Xl, the content of suspended particles reduced from 20 mg/L to less than 3 mg/L. The condensate was reused together with softened water at the ratio of 3:7, which allowed the factory to reduce waste water by 20000 m
3 each year.
