Abstract: When an ordinary reel of tear tape was used in YB55 wrapper, it was braked by fastening the clamping screw manually, which resulted in frequent machine stop for reel change and long downtime. After applying automatic braking device and large reels, the labor intensity of operators was reduced, the period of reel change extended from 4.5 hours to 12 hours, downtime decreased from 10 minutes to 3 minutes, and the efficiency of the machine was improved.
