Determination of Ash in Cigarette Paper with Potentiometric Titration

  • 摘要: 为弥补GB/T 12655-1998标准方法(指示剂滴定法)不能检测其他颜色卷烟纸灰分的不足,考察了电位滴定法测定卷烟纸灰分的效果,即采用pH/ISE测试仪、自动电位滴定仪和指示剂滴定法测定了7种卷烟纸样品的灰分,并考察了方法的准确性、精密性,以及与指示剂滴定法的差异显著性。结果表明:①pH/ISE测试仪和自动电位滴定仪法的回收率范围分别为100.0%~100.4%和99.8%~100.8%,最大变异系数各为0.62%和0.96%;②2种方法与指示剂滴定法检测结果的最大差值均为0.1%。当置信度为95%时,2种方法与指示剂滴定法检测结果的精密度和均值均无显著差异。pH/ISE测试仪和自动电位滴定仪法均可用于白色及其他颜色卷烟纸灰分的检测。

     

    Abstract: In view of the standard method of indicator titration is not applicable to determining ash in cigarette paper in colors other than white,the ash contents in seven colored cigarette paper samples were determined by pH/ISE tester,automatic potentiometric titrator and indicator titration,respectively,and the accuracy,precision,and significance of difference between indicator titration and the other two methods were compared as well.The results showed that:1) the recoveries of the pH/ISE tester and automatic potentiometric titrator ranged from 100.0% to 100.4% and 99.8% to 100.8% with maximum coefficient of variation of 0.62% and 0.96%,respectively;2) the maximum difference of ash content between indicator titration and pH/ISE tester or automatic potentiometric titrator was 0.1% and their difference was not significant at the confidence degree of 95%.Either pH/ISE tester or automatic potentiometric titrator is applicable to determining ash in cigarette paper in white or other colors.
