Abstract: Five cigarette paper samples were tested with the secondary sampling channel in total volatile bases autoanalyzer,the accuracy,precision and stability of the method were investigated,and the test results were compared with the results by national standard method.The results showed that:1)the recoveries were from 99.7% to 100.0%,the variation coefficients of five consecutive tests ranged from 0 to 0.32%,and the variation coefficients between different batches were 0 to 0.34%;2)the maximum difference between the results of this method and national standard method was 0.1%.
