Abstract:
X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis and tow tensile test were adopted to analyze the factors influencing flyings' generation,such as wood pulp,tow tension,running status of crimper,tow oiling,spinning solution filtration and TiO
2.The results showed that it was the characteristics of wood pulp and variations of physical and chemical properties between different batches that made flyings' generation unavoidable,however,flyings could be effectively reduced by decreasing tow tension and tow overfeed,and properly setting the pressure between paired rollers and pressure of compressor plate in crimper.
