Abstract: In order to solve the problem of barcode missing during barcode printing in the decision management system,the possible causes of barcode missing including frequent damage of barcode printing database ACCESS,abnormity in program processing and human-caused factors,were analyzed,and it was found that the functional defect of ACCESS was the main reason.Keeping the original work flow unchanged,the barcode printing database was upgraded from ACCESS to Microsoft SQL Server 2000,the code for ACCESS and backup restoration flow of barcode printing program were modified,and more prompting messages were added to the key parts where the barcode was liable to miss.At the same time,some assistant functions were also added to convenience the configuration and maintenance of barcode printing program.The test results showed that the upgraded system was steady and reliable,the frequency of barcode missing was reduced effectively and the recoverability of data was increased.
