Abstract:
The appearance quality of domestic B2F and C3F flue-cured tobacco samples harvested in 2004,2005 and 2006 from 37 tobacco growing areas was evaluated and compared with that of Zimbabwean flue-cured tobacco. The results showed that:1) comparing with domestic tobacco leaves,Zimbabwean leaves were superior in maturity, leaf structure and oil;2) as for color purity,Zimbabwean B2F was slightly higher and Zimbabwean C3F was slightly lower than domestic leaves;3) for the same grade,Zimbabwean leaves were slightly thicker in body and slightly weaker in colority.
