Abstract: Either scheduled maintenance system or after breakdown maintenance system adopted by cigarette enterprises is not suitable for analyzing equipments'technical condition and failure behavior,which resulted in high cost for maintenance and spare part,and production loss.Therefore,a cigarette equipment management system based on B/S pattern was designed,which was composed of 3 levels,including client end browser,web server,and database server.SQL Server 2005 was used for establishing databases and fulfilling the functions of running,maintenance,inspection,repair,planning,spare part management and expert database.The working procedure and functional modules were introduced,the data analysis methods for advance equipment status test warning and spare parts change in maintenance were discussed.The management system gives advance warnings for equipment failure and spare parts inventory and allows fuzzy search of maintenance plan,it raises the equipment management to a higher level.
