Abstract: YB55A film wrapper in ZB45 hard packet packing line working in a rear-inlet arrangement tends to produce more loose-end cigarettes in the packet,because the packets travel to the wrapper with cigarettes' filter ends in the lead,the impact acting on the packet causes tobacco recession at cigarettes' lit ends.Therefore,the conveying orientation of cigarette packet was changed and the tear tape was relocated accordingly.After improving,20 sampled packets were checked and no loose-end cigarette was found,and the packing quality of cigarette was ensured.
