Abstract:
The volatile oil in Tussilago farfara L was extracted with simultaneous distillation,analyzed by GC/MS,and tested as a cigarette flavoring.The results showed that:1)70 volatile constituents were identified in the oil,the major constituents were β-bisabolene,n-hexadecanoic acid,(-)-spathulenol,7,10,13-hexadecatrienal,δ-cadinene,9,12-octadecadienoic acid,9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid,β-cubebene and β-ionone;2) the volatile oil could improve and modify aroma,enhance green note,and reduce irritation of cigarette smoke.The volatile oil could be applied as a cigarette flavoring.
