Abstract: In order to minimize loose-end or recessed-end cigarettes in YB55A film wrapper, a packet deflecting device was applied to transfer the packets from the elevator to the synchronized belt conveyor by suction air.The device contacts with cigarette packet gently and effectively prevents the packet from impinging on the check plate at the turn of conveying passage to eliminate loose-end or recessed-end cigarettes caused by impact.The cigarette packing quality is improved and all the packets are up to the quality control standard.
