Abstract: Based on the fact that the vortex milled tobacco stem pulp and added fiber go through a 60 mesh testing sieve in different ways, a method for determining the added fiber content in paper-making process tobacco sheet by vortex milling and sieving was developed. The results showed that the method was simple, accurate and with good reproducibility, the recoveries were from 95.5% to 104.2% with RSD of 2.74% to 3.49%.
