Abstract:
In order to evaluate the consistency of cigarettes manufactured by different factories, cigarette characteristics, such as weight, TPM, CO, moisture content, nicotine and tar were compared, and the degree of agreement between cigarettes was characterized by similarity. The results showed that: 1) for cigarettes of brand M manufactured by factory A and factory B, the intrafactory similarity between different lots was 0.78 and 0.85, respectively, while the interfactory similarity was only 0.34;2) for cigarettes of brand N manufactured by factory B and factory C, the intrafactory similarity between different lots was 0.86 and 0.76, respectively, while the interfactory similarity was only 0.11;3) for cigarettes of brand H manufactured by factory A and factory C, the intrafactory similarity between different lots was 0.89 and 0.91, respectively, while the interfactory similarity was only 0.08;4) the consistency of cigarettes manufactured by different factories could be accurately and objectively evaluated by analyzing the degree of agreement between cigarettes with multi-feature similarity.
