Abstract: The roller applicator is used for tipping paper gluing in the existing tipping machine, the amount of applied glue fluctuates when machine speed changes.A nozzle applicator was designed.The amount of glue was variable via regulating glue pressure.The practical application indicated that cooperating with drive control system, the new applicator worked steadily and reliably, the amount and pattern of glue were even and clear during the running speed change;and better adapted to high machine speed running.The operation and maintenance of the new glue applicator is easy, and the only part needed to be changed is the nozzle plate for tipping paper size change.
