Abstract: The change of cut tobacco structure before and after distributing was analyzed with principal component analysis to evaluate the performance of distributors of two different types. The results showed that:1) the quality of tobacco distributed by a multi-rotating-drum distributor changed less than that by a disc distributor, and the cut tobacco distributed to different cigarette making machines was more uniform; 2) cluster analysis and intercept calculation via principal component analysis could evaluate the quality difference between products.
