Abstract: In order to form an explicit estimation of a measurement system,the source of fluctuation in the system and its influence on measurement results were investigated.The application of MSA in cigarette quality management was introduced through analysis methods based on volumes and counts and taking cigarette test station,filling power tester and packet overwrapper standard as examples.The figures and dialog windows generated by Minitab software were also analyzed.By the aid of mathematical statistics,MSA found out the causes of fluctuations,and provided a reference for improving the quality of cigarette manufacturing.
