Abstract: To select the representative indexes for strip structure,290 strip samples were collected from 12 tobacco redrying factories.Nine indicators for strip structure were clustered with systematic cluster analysis and grey incidence cluster analysis,and the representative indexes were selected with infinite irrelevance method.The results showed that:the percentage of strips >12.7mm,percentage of stem in lamina,percentage of strips of 12.7 to 25.4 mm and percentage of strips of 6.35 to 12.7 mm could be taken as the representative indexes for strip structure.
