Abstract: In order to minimize the cigarette paper remaining on the exhausted bobbin after splicing in Super 9 cigarette making and tipping machine combination, the pulse trigger disk in cigarette paper bobbin holder was improved.The number of trigger in the trigger disk was increased from 20 to 30,arc length was decreased from 13.35 to 7.23 mm,and the duration each trigger passing over the proximity switch reduced accordingly.After improving,the cigarette paper bobbin diameter was controlled more accurately,the cigarette paper remained on the used bobbin decreased from 8-12 m to about 3 m.
