Abstract: In order to quantitatively evaluate the effects of picker roller in PASSIM 8000 cigarette maker on the breakage of cut tobacco,the correlation between rotation speed of picker roller and cut tobacco breakage was investigated with single-factor multi-level analysis of variance,and the rotation speed of picker roller was optimized.The results showed that:when the rotation speed of picker roller reduced from 1120 to 1053 r/min(the diameter of driving pulley was 50mm),the change rate of long strands proportion in cut tobacco supplying system increased by 6.66%.
