Abstract: To solve the problems of cut tobacco segregation and inadequate blending brought about by grouping processing,a blending device was added between blending silo and flavoring cylinder,so that the grouping processed cut tobacco come out of the blending silo was blended again before flavoring.The effects of the blending device on cut tobacco structure,filling power and blending uniformity were investigated.The results showed that with the application of the blending device,the proportion of long strands decreased by 0.64%,the proportion of short strands increased by 0.12%,the filling power decreased by 0.1 cm³/g,and the blending uniformity increased by 0.96%.
