Abstract:
In order to rapidly analyze the chemical components in coating for reconstituted tobacco, the diffuse transmission spectrum of 89 coating samples were collected at temperature of 70℃ by an AOTF-NIR,the contents of nicotine, total sugar, reducing sugar, chlorine ion and potassium ion in the samples were determined by a continuous flow analyzer. The models for predicting the contents of these chemical components in the coating versus their spectra data were established with partial least square method. The prediction models were validated with 16 random unknown samples. The results showed that the average relative predicting deviations of nicotine, total sugar, reducing sugar, chlorine ion and potassium ion were 2.01%,1.71%,1.75%,1.83%,1.68%,with RSDs of 1.44%,0.95%,1.12%,0.91%,0.51%,respectively.It was concluded that AOTF-NIR could be used in the fast determination of mentioned analytes in coating for reconstituted tobacco.
