Synthesis of Monovitamin E Succinate and its Application in Cigarettes

  • 摘要: 为了提高卷烟主流烟气中维生素E(VE)释放量,改善卷烟口味,以VE和丁二酸酐为原料合成了VE丁二酸单酯,进行了HPLC纯度分析和1H NMR,13C NMR和EI-MS结构确证,并对添加了合成产物的卷烟进行了烟气分析和感官评吸试验。结果表明:①合成产物为目标产物--VE丁二酸单酯,纯度达98%;②添加VE丁二酸单酯的卷烟主流烟气中VE释放量增大;③添加VE丁二酸单酯的卷烟烟气刺激性小,吸味品质好。VE丁二酸单酯具有增大卷烟主流烟气VE释放量,降低刺激性,改善卷烟吸味的效果。

     

    Abstract: In order to increase the delivery of vitamin E (VE) in mainstream cigarette smoke and improve smoking taste, monovitamin E succinate was synthesized from VE and succinic anhydride, the synthetic was analyzed by HPLC, and identified by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and EI-MS. The smoke analysis and sensory evaluation of the cigarettes spiked with the synthetic were carried out. The results showed that: 1) The synthetic was the target product, monovitamin E succinate, with the purity of 98%. 2) The delivery of VE increased in mainstream smoke of the cigarette spiked with monovitamin E succinate. 3) The smoke irritation of the cigarette containing monovitamin E succinate decreased, and smoking taste improved. monovitamin E succinate has the functions of increasing VE delivery in mainstream cigarette smoke, reducing smoke irritation, and improving cigarette smoking taste.
