Abstract: In order to set the installation angle of casing nozzle in casing cylinder accurately,a nozzle fixture with a dial was designed. Through experiment and analysis,the appropriate axial and radial angles for casing nozzle in SJ type casing cylinder were 92.5° and 87.4°,respectively,and the distance between the injecting point of nozzle and the input end of cylinder was 1 m. The results of application showed that the setting of casing nozzle was accurate and simple in operation. Under the same processing conditions,the tobacco stuck on the cylinder wall reduced from 2.60 to 0.69 kg/batch,and the uniformity and stability of casing were effectively improved.
