Abstract:
The effects of technical parameters of pneumatic drying equipment at low velocity on the quality of dried cut stem were investigated with single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment. The results showed that:1) Within the test range, the proportion of long strands in cut stem decreased with the increase of moisture content in input cut stem; the proportion of short strands in and filling value of cut stem increased with the raise of expansion steam flow; the filling value of cut stem increased first and then decreased with the increase of opening of the exhaust valve; while the effect of frequency of hot air fan motor on the quality of cut stem was slight. 2) The appropriate parameters were:initial moisture content in cut stem 36%, expansion steam flow 700 kg/h, the frequency of hot air fan motor 33 Hz, the opening of the exhaust valve 40%. After optimization, the proportion of long strands in cut stem increased by 0.3 percentage points, that of short strands decreased by 0.1 percentage point, the filling value raised by 0.31 cm
3/g, and the quality of cut stem was improved.
