Abstract: In order to study the effects of VAS fluidized bed on the quality of cut strips, the indexes of cylinder drying cut strips of two brands before and after VAS processing were comparatively evaluated in Kunming Cigarette Factory. The results showed that after VAS processing, cut strips possessed more uniform moisture content and temperature and better sensory quality, the filling value increased by 0.53-0.58 cm³/g, the purity raised from 96.57% to above 99.81%, the proportions of long strands and short strands decreased to a certain degree.
