Abstract:
To facilitate tobacco researchers' studying and using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, the status quo of CFD application in tobacco industry over the past decade was summarized involving tobacco processing equipment, workshop and storage space planning. It was believed that CFD software possessed broad application prospects in the researches on the fluid flow uniformity in the processes of tobacco processing and storage, the even distribution of temperature and humidity fields, the variation relationships between moisture content and temperature of material, and the problems relative to cigarette burning.
