Abstract:
In order to determine the tributyl citrate(TBC) and acetyl tributyl citrate(ATBC) in water-based cigarette adhesives,TBC and ATBC in the adhesive were extracted with
n-hexane,cyclohexane,ethyl ether and 2,2,4-trimethylpentane,respectively,and then determined by GC/MS under selected ion monitoring mode.The results showed that:1) The optimal extraction conditions were 2 mL of water mixed with 10 mL of
n-hexane(solvent) and 0.3 g of adhesive sample,and the mixture was oscillated for 30 minutes.2) The calibration curves of TBC and ATBC exhibited good linear relations(
R2>0.99) with the limits of detection of 0.26 and 0.20 礸/mL,respectively.The recoveries ranged from 96% to 107% with the relative standard deviation(RSD) of 3.93% to 4.12%.This method is suitable for the analysis of TBC and ATBC in water-based cigarette adhesives.
