Abstract: Key processing conditions for separate processing of paper-making process reconstituted tobacco,including cutting and drying parameters on the processing quality of the same were studied.The results indicated that:1) Along with the increase of mouthpiece pressure in tobacco cutter,the percentage of uncut scraps in cut rag reduced,while the percentage of stuck strands raised.There was no obvious linear correlation between cut width and mouthpiece pressure,however,the qualified rate of cut tobacco decreased if the pressure of mouthpiece was too low.2) With the increase of moisture content in tobacco during cutting,the percentage of uncut scraps after cutting reduced slightly and the fly ash gradually diminished,while the percentage of stuck strands increased.Cut width or qualified rate had no obvious linear correlation with the moisture content in tobacco.3) With the increase of processing intensity,the dried cut rag crimped and its filling power increased slightly.
