Abstract: To investigate the distribution of heavy metal lead in tobacco leaves,the lead contents in different parts of leaves from different stalk positions of different tobacco types were determined.The results showed that:1) The lead content was the highest in the tip and edge of leaf,higher in the base and central part of leaf, and low in midrib;2) The leaves from different stalk positions in the order of lead content were lower leaves>middle leaves>upper leaves;3) The lead content in the same part of leaves from different stalk positions was higher in lower leaves,than in middle leaves and upper leaves.
