Abstract: In order to find out the factors influencing the adhesive force of tobacco leaves and the formation of tobacco cakes,the effects of moisture content in tobacco leaves,temperature and pressure on the adhesive force were analyzed,and the relationship between the adhesive force and ordering efficiency of tobacco leaves during vacuum conditioning was investigated.The results showed that:1) With the rise of moisture content and temperature,the adhesive force of leaves increased first then decreased,the adhesive force raised gradually with the increase of external pressure in general.2) The adhesive force of leaves negatively correlated to the ordering efficiency,and the adhesive force of leaves in tobacco cake was higher than that of loose leaves,which indicated that the adhesive force of leaves was one of the major factors affecting ordering efficiency and the formation of tobacco cakes.
