Retention and Distribution Patterns of Phenolic Compounds in Cigarette Filters

  • 摘要: 为考察滤嘴结构对卷烟主流烟气中酚类化合物过滤效率及截留分布模式的影响,比较了ISO和加拿大深度(HCI)抽吸模式下普通醋纤滤嘴对苯酚、邻甲酚、间/对-甲酚、对苯二酚、间苯二酚和邻苯二酚的过滤效率,研究了7种酚类化合物在普通醋纤滤嘴中的浓度空间分布模式;考察了ISO抽吸模式下普通醋纤、外置沟槽醋纤、纸/醋复合和通风空腔醋纤4种不同结构滤嘴对酚类化合物的过滤效率及酚类化合物在滤嘴中的截留分布模式。结果表明:①ISO抽吸模式下普通醋纤滤嘴对酚类化合物的过滤效率在49%~87%之间,苯酚和邻/间/对-甲酚明显高于3种苯二酚;HCI抽吸模式下3种苯二酚异构体的过滤效率下降,苯酚和邻/间/对-甲酚的过滤效率反而有一定程度的升高。②不同结构滤嘴对酚类化合物的过滤效率从高到低依次为:普通醋纤滤嘴≈外置沟槽醋纤滤嘴>纸/醋复合滤嘴>通风空腔醋纤滤嘴;③醋纤滤嘴对酚类化合物的选择性截留作用显著,这种截留是酚类化合物与滤嘴材料相互作用的结果。

     

    Abstract: To study the effects of filter structure on the retention and distribution patterns of phenolic compounds in cigarette filters,the retention rates of normal acetate filter to phenol,o-cresol,m/p-cresol,hydroquinone,resorcin and catechol under ISO and Health Canadian Intense(HCI) smoking regimes were compared,and the spatial distribution patterns of the 7 phenolic compounds in filter were investigated.The retention behavior in peripherally grooved acetate filter,paper-acetate combined filter and ventilated cavity acetate filter was also investigated under ISO smoking regime.The results showed that:1) The retention rate of normal acetate filter to phenolic compounds under ISO smoking regime ranged from 49% to 87%,and that to phenol and o/m/p-cresol was higher than to the others.Under HCI smoking regime,the retention rate to phenol and o/m/p-cresol increased to a certain extent,while that to the others decreased.2) The filters in the order of retention rate to phenolic compounds were:normal acetate filter≈peripherally grooved acetate filter>paper-acetate combined filter>ventilated cavity acetate filter.3) Acetate filter possessed obvious retention selectivity to phenolic compounds,which was the result of the interaction between phenolic compounds and filter materials.
