Abstract: Aiming at the problems of screen blocking in stalk epidermis flap shaker and stem sieve, the support of screen plate in the flap shaker was improved to allow the flaps to pass over the screen smoothly, the screen was thus self-cleaned, the effect of separating flaps from stems increased effectively;the blocked stem could be removed timely by a set of cleaning device added over the screen plate of stem sieve, to keep a constant opening ratio of screen, the effective separation of long and short stems was ensured.
