Abstract: The layout of automatic filter rod conveying system were discussed, including grouping of cigarette making and tipping machine combinations, filter rod ejectors, plasticizers, filter rod makers, and etc.The main specifications of different filter rod equipments were analyzed, and the equipment selection and operation were introduced based on the practice of Xuzhou Cigarette Factory.The experiences were:matching the output of filter rod makers with that of cigarette making and tipping machine combinations and the adopting nonstandard filter rod reservoirs where necessary.
