Abstract:
Four forms of tobacco bales stacking and related method of counting the stacked bales were introduced:1)the bricked column form was suitable for stacking the tobacco bales of higher moisture content, its advantages were well-ventilation, straightforward and no miscounting, while the disadvantages were it was more laboursome to lay the upper layers and the stack was less stable;2)stepped staggering form was generally used for stacking a large number of tobacco bales, it advantaged better ventilation, labor-saving for upper layers stacking and steadier, however, the stacked bales out of order, "sliding" and miss counting were likely to happen;3)T form transverse and lon gitudinal alternate stacking not only featured all the merits of stepped staggering form, but also overcame its shortcomings, furthermore, the stability and practicability were better;4)ridge form was used for outdoor stacking.
