Abstract: In order to determine triacetin in cellulose acetate filter rod quickly and accurately, a mathematical model was developed with near infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and partial least square, and the model was optimized and verified.The results showed that the method is fast, accurate and especially suitable to where there are mass filter rod samples to be analyzed.
