Abstract: The objective, methods, results, discussion and conclusion of Massachusetts benchmark study were introduced in detail.It provided a reference for developing the functional relationships between the yields of individual hazardous constituent in cigarette mainstream and sidestream smoke and the yields of the routine smoke compositions, such as nicotine, tar and carbon monoxide, in China.
