Abstract:
To fit the development of blended-type cigarettes in our country, the functions of 98 additives, such as sugars, organic acids, natural flavor extracts, and etc., and 88 flavoring materials, including esters, volatile organic acids, pyrazines, pyridines, ketones, and etc., in blended-type cigarettes were evaluated, respectively.Some flavoring materials and additives which could effectively reduce the harshness and offensive odor and improve the flavor and aftertaste of cigarette smoke were selected.The formulating-modes of top dressing and flavoring were developed through analyzing the cased cigarette samples, and the aroma components in some top dressed cigarettes were also analyzed.
