Abstract:
Experiments on reduction of error in cigarette flavoring and casing were conducted.The results showed that the experimental error in flavoring and casing caused by the amount of cut tobacco, rate and density of added flavoring and casing, and the tumbles of cut tobacco during flavoring and casing, was from 8.24% to 16.00%and 2.56% to 7.11%, respectively.A new method for cigarette flavoring and casing experiment, metering on a balance, was developed.Namely, flavoring or casing was added to cut tobacco on a balance until the desirable weight was reached.The accuracy of the method was over 99%, even up to 100%.
