Abstract: The technology for manufacturing reconstituted tobacco containing Chinese medicinal herb components such as folium gingko, liquorice, reed rhizome, cumin, ginseng, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, and Scutellaria baicalensis was introduced.The Chinese medicinal herb or its mixture with tobacco was extracted, a web was made of the residual fiber and coated with the extract concentrated at low-temperature and vacuum.The resultant reconstituted tobacco was harmonious with tobacco in flavor and possessed higher safety.
