Abstract: To solve the problem of cut tobacco size segregation in the process of pneumatic feeding, a sieving and vibrating distributor was applied in the pneumatic feeding system based on the test and analysis of processing parameters influencing the cut tobacco structure.The results showed that the cut tobacco structure was significantly improved and small particle (<1.00mm) content was lowered, the dust content, draw resistance and weight of cigarettes were decreased, the quality of cigarettes was steady and upgraded.
