Abstract: The formation, influencing factors (including nitrate and nitrite, alkaloid, temperature, humidity and nitrogen fertilizer), analytical methods, distribution in leaf, carcinogenicity and scavenging technology of tobacco-specific nitrosamines were reviewed.
