Abstract: The basic theory, main influencing factors, and research achievements of tobacco drying, including thermal properties of tobacco, physical and chemical changes during tobacco drying were reviewed.It was considered that the digital analogue calculation and the changes of aroma constituents and harmful components in tobacco would be among major subjects in tobacco drying.
