Abstract: The basic design idea of automatic tobacco logistic system was introduced, and the aspects involved in overall technological design were discussed in detail, including:1) materials, including materials to be used and related carriers; 2) storage modes, including high rack warehouse, automatic storing cabinet and planar storage; 3) depoting and retrieving of raw material, auxiliary materials, finished products and spare parts. The basic procedure and relative technologies of overall design of automatic logistic system in cigarette production were described, and it could be served as a reference for the logistic design and management personnels in the tobacco enterprises.
