Abstract:
The problems about reference listing in some contributions were analyzed with practical examples. The main problems were:1) no reference; 2) listing references only, without marks in the text; 3) numbering the ref-erences not in order of their appearances in the text; 4) confusing the serial numbers with the context of sentences; 5) missing the author and/or other important information; 6) using an abnormal reference's title; 7) listing infor-mal publications; 8) putting descriptors of liability (writer, co-writer, editor and other things) after the name of author; 9) listing not the latest references; 10) listed references having not much to do with the text. The common er-rors in English references were also analyzed, and some suggestions were proposed.
